Magazine Cover

On the left is the photo that I started with and on the right is my magazine.

I decided to take a photo of makeup and make my magazine about beauty. I started off by adding a new layer and in that layer I edited my photo. I used the clone stamp tool to fix the reflection of the light in one of the makeup palettes. I also used the eyedropper tool and then the paintbrush tool to “clean up’ the makeup palettes.I used the dodge tool to brighten up some of the colors on the makeup palette as well. I then added a grid to my canvas by selecting view, new guide layout and adjusting the columns and rows 6 by 6. I then added my text, I edited the spacing between the text and the size of each of the text that I wrote. I then clicked the 3D effect for one of the texts. Since I did not like how the colors of my text looked with my photo, I decided to make the photo black and white. However, I wanted the colors in the makeup palette to show so I selected that part of the photo and I copied and pasted it onto my black and white magazine. I like how it turned out because I think it's different and originally it was too plain, in my opinion.
